This page lists the standard rates your end users pay. Fees are charged only when a user moves value — crypto to fiat, or fiat to crypto. There is no fee to hold a Spritz account. Every fee is quoted before the user commits. See Fees for how the fee appears in a quote or deposit response, and how you can subsidize it.

How a fee is calculated

Each fee has two parts: a percentage of the transaction amount, and a minimum per-transaction amount. The fee charged is whichever is greater.
The rate is additive. Start from the base rate, then add every adjustment that applies — the rail used, the token and network, and the size of the transaction. The minimum is the largest of the base minimum and any minimum an adjustment sets.

United States and Canada

Crypto to fiat

The base rate is 0.5%, with a $2 minimum. Adjustments apply on top. By rail By token and network Stablecoins on low-cost networks are the cheapest way for a user to pay. If you choose which network to present, defaulting to USDC on one of the no-adjustment networks keeps your users’ fees lowest. By transaction size
RapidPay (rtp), same-day ACH (ach_same_day), and push to card (push_to_card) cost an additional 1% on weekends and US bank holidays. Each user gets one free instant transaction per month, up to $1,000, exempt from that 1% instant-rail adjustment and from the weekend and holiday surcharge. Standard fees still apply.

Fiat to crypto

On-ramps are a flat 1%, with no minimum. A wire-funded on-ramp costs an additional $20.

Worked examples

  • Base rate: 0.5%
  • ach_standard: no adjustment
  • USDC on Base: no adjustment
  • Regular size: no adjustment
Rate is 0.5% and the minimum is $2.max(0.5% × $2,000, $2) = $10
  • Base rate: 0.5%
  • bill_pay: +0.5%, minimum $4
  • Non-USDC on Arbitrum: +0.5%
  • Regular size: no adjustment
Rate is 1.5% and the minimum is $4.max(1.5% × $1,500, $4) = $22.50
  • Base rate: 0.5%
  • ach_standard: no adjustment
  • BTC on Bitcoin: +1.5%, minimum $5
  • Regular size: no adjustment
Rate is 2% and the minimum is $5.max(2% × $150, $5) = $5, because 2% of $150 is only $3.
